'High Noon II' x Auckland City w/ Oddisee

Pretty hyped about this one. 

Oddisee is dope and we have a mean local line-up which I am lucky enough to be included in.

Oddisee is an undercover hip-hop beast who has produced for the likes of DJ Jazzy Jeff, Ken Starr, Talib Kweli, DTMD, as well as putting out into the world his own high quality beats and rhymes.

His latest release 'Rock Creek Park' was inspired by the one and only Donald Byrd.

Been hangin' for somethin' new from these young fullas for a while now after their EP 'The Basics' appeared from nowhere in 2009.

This jam is lovely shit, and it heralds the news that they are working on their debut LP, 'Makin' Dollars' which I for one am very excited about!

They are both 19 years-old and FRESH.

New Blood (Artist Feature): DTMD

Now these guys just appeared on the scene outta nowhere sometime last year, can't remember where or when exactly...

Anyhow, their EP 'The Basics' is real sweet. Certainly worth your time to download from their Bandcamp page, and the generous youngsters from the U.S. offer it for free.

Certainly some of the nicest new-school i've heard in a while. Can definitely hear the Jay Dee influence; in fact they even name a track 'Fantastic'. And the band's name, without doubt a homage to the legendary EPMD.

They're still in school too!
